I know, it sounds ridiculous...right?
I'm going to Maui in February, and I'm looking to stay with people, help in their gardens and such, hotels are boring and expensive. I will have my son Solomon with me who will be 10 months old. I am aiming to get over to the Hana side of Maui, which is the opposite side as the airport...
WAIT!!!! Before you go replying telling me how wretched of a mother I am for even considering it, let me assure you, I am just barely hardly scarcely considering it, and I am probably the best mother on the face of the planet, and no one loves their baby more than I love Solomon, he's my sun.
Buses only operate on the side of the island the airport is on, and I also don't want to haul around a carseat when I'm over there..any ideas?

Re: Hitch-hike with baby on Maui?
Sat, February 7, 2009 - 9:11 PMi am actually drifting in maui right now till at least mid may, you should have no problem. hitch hiking is just another way of getting around the island. I havent had any sketchy rides yet. and the busses run like every hour to hour and a half....... hope your trip works out! let me know if you want to hang out or anything. -
